This is a beautiful painting! and it does have some Carrie Fisher quality to it, but I sort of see Maggie Gyllenhaal , really is eye of the beholder kind of thing! Your quote also reminds me of Pilate. "don’t let a manmade God deter you from knowledge and TRUTH." That reminds me of when Pontius Pilate said to Jesus..."What is TRUTH?" Jesus replied, "Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.” Differing Roman records show that in 36/37 AD Pilate committed suicide, or was exiled then suicided after his wife had a dream not to crucify the innocent man. Either way sucks to be him. I think with the Adam and Eve parable the take away that is missed by most is not that a woman sinned and brought down all of mankind, but it is a parable that seeking only knowledge and power corrupts people absolutely. Well, that and that you need an XX & XY chromosome couple to make an offspring genetically. Progressive back then by today's standards of test tube babies! How little they knew about artificial insemination back then!
